Nissan prides itself on being an innovative company that isn’t afraid to try new things that go against the industry norm. They have built a convertible crossover with the Murano CrossCabriolet, and even sprinkled silver dust in the wood trim of the Infiniti M-Class. Now, Nissan is developing the first-ever super crossover with the Juke R.

Based on the Nissan Juke sport crossover, the Juke R is a concept car that hides the powertrain from the legendary GT-R underneath its skin. Instead of the 188 horsepower 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with front- or all-wheel drive, the Juke R boasts a 520 horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 engine and modified all-wheel drive system directly from the GT-R. The six-speed transaxle carries over and is mated to modified prop shafts. One of the obstacles with such a Frankenstein-like build is getting every component to properly fit without affecting the drivability.

In order to successfully combine the two cars together, Nissan teamed up with the RML group. The UK-based company had previously raced numerous Nissan models throughout their history. With this experience and the help of the Nissan Technology Center for Europe (NTC-E), the Juke R was able to transform from concept into reality.

“Juke lends itself perfectly to a sports derivative and Juke-R explores that territory. Equally at home on road and track, Juke-R showcases two of the most exciting cars in our range and highlights the technical innovation that drives Nissan,” said Paul Willcox, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Nissan in Europe. “This car will more than live up to the dynamic driving experience we engineer into all our cars.”

Even at first glance, the Juke R looks like a crossover on steroids. The wheel arches are flared to accommodate the drivetrain and 20-inch wheels, a new front bumper contributes to a meaner face, and new side skirts help redirect air away from the wheels. The rear is fitted with a split rear wing and new bumper with aerodynamic diffuser to help keep the Juke R planted on the road’s surface.

Inside, the Juke has gone from a mild-mannered crossover to a brutal super car. The same seven-inch customizable LCD display, gauges, and dials are all carried over from Godzilla and sit in modified interior housings. The same motorcycle-themed center console of the Juke was preserved, but the rest of the cockpit undergoes a motorsport transformation. An FIA roll cage increases rigidity and safety while racing seats with five-point safety harnesses hold passengers.

“Nissan Juke is one of the most exciting cars on the market today,” said Willcox. “Its bold crossover design has captured the imagination of car buyers all over Europe; after just a year on sale we are celebrating sales of more than 100,000 units.”

Only two of the Nissan Juke R concept crossovers will be produced; one with right-hand drive, the other with left-hand drive. Both cars are currently in development and will undergo testing in November, 2011.

What really sets this Evo X apart from the rest are the ISS Forged FS-20 wheels with few upgrades. The Nissan 350Z brought the legendary Z-car name back to the Nissan lineup after a six-year North American hiatus. When the 350Z was introduced, it brought stiff competition to cars that cost twice the price and made it a bona fide predator on the racetrack.

To call this 2006 Nissan 350Z special is an understatement. Not only does it wear a set of stunning ISS Forged FS-20 wheels, but it also packs a host of go-fast goodies, custom paint, and powerful audio that put it at the top of the food chain.

The striking 350Z is dressed in a special coat of BMW Montego Blue paint, giving it a unique appearance. At the front, a new Nismo Version II bumper with spoiler and side flics helps generate downforce at the front axle for better grip, and custom headlights give an intimidating stare. A shorty antenna gives the exterior a clean and smooth look while the rear sports a carbon fiber spoiler and diffuser for a more athletic look at better aerodynamics.

But what really sets the 350Z apart are the ISS Forged FS-20 wheels. The forged wheels are finished with spectacular Wicked White centers and Porsche GT3 Green lips to contrast the Montego Blue exterior paint. The 3.5-liter V-6 has also been modified to make it a potent performer on the road. A Borla cat-back exhaust system with Greddy headers and Megan test pipes unleashes a ferocious roar. A K&N intake and upper and lower plenum spacers help improve airflow and throttle response while new cam gears, pulleys, 100Shot Nitrous Express, an MSD ignition, and ECU tune drastically improves output. To handle the added power, a lightweight flywheel, Stage 2 clutch, and B&M short shifter were installed. The engine cover and rear struts were given a coat of Montego Blue paint to match the exterior color scheme.

The 350Z with ISS Forged FS-20 wheels was completed with new JL sound system that will make your ears melt. A new JL W7-3 8-inch subwoofer, Audio 500/1 amplifier, and JL audio wiring were added to create the ultimate music experience.

Back in 2009, Aston Martin introduced the special edition DBS Carbon Black model with carbon fiber paint and interior upgrades. The exclusive model proved to be popular amongst Aston Martin customers, leading the British automaker to introduce a DBS Carbon Edition for the 2011 model year.

The new 2011 Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition can easily be distinguished from the other models in the Aston Martin lineup due to a number of exclusive aesthetic upgrades. Customers can choose from three unique colors: Carbon Black, Flame Orange, and Ceramic Grey. All three of the paint finishes are applied using Aston Martin’s meticulous paint process where seven layers of paint are applied and then given a 25 hour flat-and-polish hand finishing for a glass-like shine. Optionally, Aston Martin can also apply a satin lacquer paint finish to each of the three paint colors.

In addition to the paint, the DBS Carbon Edition wears a number of carbon fiber features, as the name suggests. New side mirrors, rear taillight dividers, and front splitter are all made from the lightweight material in a naked finish. Complementing the bare carbon fiber is a black grille at the front and smoked taillights at the rear. The Carbon Edition also features unique ten-spoke gloss black diamond turned wheels standard, or customers can opt for either a full gloss black or reverse diamond turned finish. Behind the stunning ten-spoke wheels are black brake calipers that can be given an optional yellow, orange, red, or grey finish to contrast or match the exterior paint.

The DBS Carbon Edition can be purchased in either coupe or Volante convertible form. Both variants come standard with soft and natural semi-aniline leather in obsidian black or maranello orange colors; both of which take over 70 man hours to stitch and finish. In the Coupe, the headliner is given a coat of quilted leather to wear, adding a touch of opulence. The dashboard is wears a form-fitting carbon fiber trim made by hand to match the contours of the dash and console. Special carbon fiber tips are given to the magnesium steering wheel paddle shifters of the Touchtronic II automatic transmission. A special edition carbon sill plaque with etched metal inlay provides the finishing touches on the luxurious interior.

The Aston Martin DBS Carbon Editions will be available for delivery starting in early 2012. Prices for the Coupe begin at £186,582 (€257,912/$287,576), while the Volante is priced at £196,581 (€272,913/$302,576). That’s approximately $14,000 and $16,000 respectively more than the base DBS models.
